How does Speco® disinfect and protect for such a long time?

Speco® is an antimicrobial coating that sanitises and actively protects. Unlike regular cleaning solutions that kill germs on a one-off basis, Speco®’s antimicrobial coating, formulated with nano-shield technology, bonds to surfaces, punctures and electrocutes germs that make contact with its surface. Thus, continually disinfecting and protecting the surface.

Is it sufficient to just protect my high touch points such as my lift lobbies?

In every building, there are many more areas that could lead to fomite contamination aside from high touchpoint surfaces. With our latest technology in application, we are able to completely cover your premises quickly and economically. We believe in providing complete coverage rather than selective coverage. 

Is Speco® effective against the COVID-19 virus (SARS-CoV-2)?

Yes, all Speco® products contain our Proprietary Formulation that is EPA registered and tested effected against pathogens, including COVID-19. Our R&D process continually provides for effective, durable and non-cytotoxic protection for our clients. We are tested in accordance with ISO standards and are verified suitable for use in places with high disease prevalence.

How does Speco cost as compared to other antimicrobial coatings or other options like DIY?

We have the latest technology in application tools and solutions that allows us to have higher productivity and achieve economies of scale.

Can Speco® disinfect germs, viruses, bacteria & mould in the air?

Yes, Speco® can be used for air treatment by coating on air filters (e.g. in air conditioners and face masks). Speco® works by bonding to surfaces - it does not stay in the air. Alternatively, you can purchase Speco Air, an air sanitiser that keeps your air free from viruses, bacteria, mould and toxic VOCs, leaving a refreshing yuzu scent.

Is Speco® safe on all surfaces and materials?

Yes, all Speco® products are non-toxic, biodegradable and food grade, and it is safe to use on all surfaces. Speco® products are non-corrosive and non-leaching on all material types.
